Officer
DeVeaux was born and raised in Anchorage where he graduated from West
High School in 1994. After graduating from Oregon State University with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in History, he started his law enforcement career
with the Anchorage Police Department. In 1999 he was hired by the Homer Police
Department where he worked for over six years before coming to the Palmer Police
Department. While at the Homer Police Department he worked closely with the
Alaska State Trooper Special Emergency Reaction Team, where he held the position
of Entry Team Leader. Officer DeVeaux is a firearms instructor, D.A.R.E.
instructor and has worked as a computer forensics investigator.
